Short Bio

Klea Panayidou obtains a B.Sc in Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, Economics (MORSE) from the University of Warwick, UK (2003), a MSc in Applied Statistics from the University of Oxford, UK (2004) and a D.Phil in Statistics from the University of Oxford, UK (2010). Her D.Phil thesis was cited in Bioinformatics (2010). Dr Panayidou prior to joining University of Frederick, she taught as a special scientist at the University of Cyprus (Department of Public and Business Administration) and at the European University Cyprus (Department of Computer Science and Engineering). Her current research interests include statistical inference, statistical model selection, graphical models, data mining and applied problems in biology, medicine and industry.
